Its been a long time since we last updated our blog ( I started this before the hair post of Hill’s), so its time to wake it from the summer slumber we seemed to have put it in. Well, it’s official, spring is here! The past couple days have been “busy” in respect to gardening. Unfortunately, I haven’t even attempted to clean out my flower beds and cut back the perennials but that is neither here nor there. This year, I decided that Tana needed a flower garden to tend and learn [...] This past Thursday, Ben, Tana, and I headed out to Moab to meet my parents for a little hiking, biking, and “racing”. We pulled into town Thursday evening and my Mom and a great dinner waiting for us. Friday, we had a relaxed morning and then go ourselves organized to go hiking. [...] Later this afternoon Hillary and I will have been married for eight years! and will have been going together for the better part of eleven years! wow how the time goes by… There are times that I still am in amazement that we’re dating, much less married and with child(ren) – I mean who would [...] Ben and I were supposed to run the Skirt Chaser together, but we couldn’t find a babysitter for Tana. Since Ben’s toes are still kind of sore and he has a Sunday soccer game, we decided that I would run and he would hang out with Tana. Bear in mind that with the hematoma issue [...] Okay, don’t panic and nobody call us all worried that the sky is falling. I’ve had enough “Chicken Little” syndrome for all of us over the past couple weeks. A few weeks ago, the same day as Tri for the Cure, actually, I was going to bed and noticed that I was having [...] Since Ben already kind of spilled the beans in his previous post, I figured it was time to make it official. I AM PREGNANT! Today is the last day of my first trimester and boy am I glad to have the past few months behind me. The fatigue, nausea, and gagging are [...] The tomato plant is doing very well. I picked a whole bunch of tomatoes this evening. Here is the fruit (literally) of my labor. I understand why these tomatoes are called Sun Gold. They are the pure essence of the summer sun. Tana cracks me up. She asks for tomatoes [...] Sunday was Tri for the Cure. This is the 2nd year that I have done it. All I can say is that it was HOT!
