Last weekend was the second in the Winter Distance Series races, Frosty’s Frozen 5/10 miler. Hillary and I gave each other entry to this race series for Christmas, signing up for the middle distance (5k, 5mi, 10mi). This kind of gift (and it was the only gift we actually gave each other that was purely [...] Its been a long time since we last updated our blog ( I started this before the hair post of Hill’s), so its time to wake it from the summer slumber we seemed to have put it in. Tana has had much to say lately, and by much I mean that she is constantly talking. The quiet of nap and bed time is more welcome than ever Most of the time she calls Ben, “Daddy the Snowman”, but sometimes “Just Mommy’s a snowman!” A few days ago, I asked Tana what I was going to [...] check the photo albums link above for some new pictures In order to get a “reasonable” amount of sleep and still be able to wake up in time to get a workout in before work, I’ve been trying to head to bed around 8pm lately. This means that I’m trying to wind my night down around 7:30pm to head to bed…. wait, winding the [...] Our second daughter was born this weekend. Brenna came into the world with the assistance of some great midwives in the comfort of our own home. She weighed 9lbs 8oz with a 14.25″ head and 21″ long body. The birth was great and we couldn’t have planned it much better than it was, home birth [...] Well – we are waiting with baited breath, so to say, to meet the new addition to the Saunders’ family. at least one of the due dates has come and gone; however if you ask Tana, she says that the baby will come out on Feb. 9th. So we will continue to wait and try not [...] As part of Tana’s Christmas and to help us prepare for the new addition in the family, Ben’s mom bought Tana a toddler bed. It arrived Monday afternoon so our evening was filled with “building” the bed as Tana called it. The toddler bed uses a crib mattress so we had to pull [...] This weekend was a very busy weekend for the Saunders Family. Saturday started with the annual foray into the cold to pick up our KBCO Studio C cd’s. My pregnant body really wasn’t feeling the love for sitting/standing in the pre-dawn cold for hours on end, so we opted for showing up after the store [...] |
