Its been too long since an update; this one is short but sweet to make up for it… For Tana’s 4th birthday we scoured craiglist for a pedal bike for her and eventually found the perfect one. Being quite excited as parents to give it to her (and wanting to give her have some practice time [...] A friend of ours has her own business where she makes kids clothes , accessories and other fun items. Tana always thinks the things she has are great and being that Tana is so cute, she was asked to pose for some pictures. So yep, Tana is the famous one of the family [...] Check out the photo album for some newly uploaded pictures of the kids a couple teasers: Brenna showing a bit of the personality to come yes, that is an underwear hat I love growling happy babies! anyone for afternoon coco? Well – earlier this year, err… late last year, we came across a seriously great deal (<90% discount) on boots and skiis that would work for Tana to learn to ski on for this season and next season at least. Today was our first day up and Tana had a ball – is taking to it [...] Its been a long time since we last updated our blog ( I started this before the hair post of Hill’s), so its time to wake it from the summer slumber we seemed to have put it in. Well, it’s official, spring is here! The past couple days have been “busy” in respect to gardening. Unfortunately, I haven’t even attempted to clean out my flower beds and cut back the perennials but that is neither here nor there. This year, I decided that Tana needed a flower garden to tend and learn [...] Tana has had much to say lately, and by much I mean that she is constantly talking. The quiet of nap and bed time is more welcome than ever Most of the time she calls Ben, “Daddy the Snowman”, but sometimes “Just Mommy’s a snowman!” A few days ago, I asked Tana what I was going to [...] As part of Tana’s Christmas and to help us prepare for the new addition in the family, Ben’s mom bought Tana a toddler bed. It arrived Monday afternoon so our evening was filled with “building” the bed as Tana called it. The toddler bed uses a crib mattress so we had to pull [...] In the past week, we’ve been a bit busy. Two Saturday’s ago was my last cyclocross race and it was a good family event as well. The weather was great cyclocross weather – ie miserable by most other standards. Lots of snow, grey skies and cold weather. My dad and Hillary’s parents came to the [...] It’s now been several weeks since Tana has been in the potty training phase and Tana has gone 4 days straight without any accidents at all! She is still ~70% success with waking up with dry undies, but hey its only been a month, so she is doing great! We are also continuing with the [...] |
